Grateful for a prompt appointment. Once in the Breast Clinic I was dealt with very professionally. Dr Parmar inspired confidence and it was wonderful to have several procedures conducted at the same appointment and most of the results readily available. Excellent service. I wonder whether it would be possible to be taken into the Breast Clinic at the time of your appointment as the main reception area is not very welcoming, it was cold, people were rushing around, with a constant stream of people trying to use the lavatories. It was bleak. I did not appreciate the music within the Breast Clinic, I know it was probably meant to soothe but it had the opposite effect on me.

I agree with all the previous positive comments. I too was one of the lucky ones and Mr Parmar gave simple practical advice with regards to my problem. The Unit itself and all staff are friendly and understanding. A time of concern was made easier by the attitude of all the team and the quick wait time from referral by my GP to the appointment and in my case results on the same day. Thank you.

Dr Parmar listened sympathetically and in no way undermined me, taking my concerns seriously and made me feel justified in contacting the department for a check-up. He gave me advice about how to self-care, hopefully will help to avoid unnecessary anxiety in future. He educated me as to how to self-examine more effectively in future which I appreciated.
